Under the leadership of Dr. Michael Krause, our team managed the program and redevelopment of the first phase of this historic and landmark site, the Plenary Building. The World Conference Center Bonn project encompassed the new Main Building together with the Plenary Building. The facilities program included the development of multipurpose event space with a capacity of 5,000 people. The overall square footage for the program and ancillary spaces is approximately 350,000 SF.
The project is located in the middle of Bonn’s former government quarter, in the immediate vicinity of the United Nations Campus, Deutsche Post DHL, the international media broadcaster Deutsche Welle, international organizations, and next to the river Rhine. Currently, the campus completed phase two development with additional structures in the works.
